The Path

The path isn’t always framed perfectly and it isn't perfectly straight. It is perfect in its appearance of imperfections. I recently read about this symbol Unalome. It states the Unalome is a symbol for the journey to enlightenment, the path isn’t always straight, or even in the “right” direction. The path or paths to awakening are paved with missteps, lessons, some suffering, and yes the contrast helps us move to the next level and the next. It shows us what we dont want and helps us become more clear on what we do want. The more clear we become on what we do want the better we can see in our imagination the divine unfolding building momentum in the direction of making manifest our hearts desire. This is not necessarily about things for me, it is about a new way of Being. You can't be “born again” so to speak, thinking the same old ways or same personality. It makes no sense to pour new wine into old broke down wine skins, it won't work long term. Step outside of your self for a moment, take a look at where you are right now. Take a good look at your thoughts. Write your observations down on paper today. Read it out loud. What can you do differently to change your perspective? Can you add meditation on the good things or journal the positive aspects of your life or add appreciation for what you have right now? Yes, of course you can. Will it give you instant gratification? Maybe. Sometimes its instant and sometimes the change takes years. It all depends on you and how quick you can let go of those useless limiting beliefs.

I was once bitter, angry and a relentlessly nasty being. I couldn't stand myself. I had lost my job, was unable to find a new job, and found myself lying on the floor of the garage trying to get the courage to end it all, when I heard the voice of God come from inside myself loudly and clearly say “I have plans for you to make a difference in this world” I didnt understand it that day but slowly and surely God reveals pieces of the plan. I started reading and searching for the answers. I felt different, I somehow knew what I was seeking was waiting for me to open my eyes to see. That was almost 10 years ago. Today, I am moving every day up the spiral path, the crooked path, the squirly path toward enlightenment. I am in a constant state of learning, knowing more and more transforming into the image of the creator, letting go or shedding the skin of the old man and putting on the seamless garments of Infinite Love.

The key to change is take a step in faith, trust in the unknown, seek out what other mystics and enlightened Beings have already learned. Read books by Wayne Dyer, Eckart Tolle, Michael Singer, Deepak Chopra, Neville Goddard, Joseph Murphy, Catherine Ponder, Dr. Joe Dispenza, Gregg Braden, Dr. Bruce Lipton and many many more. Keep seeking knowledge, keep moving in the direction you feel called to follow. Stop watching the news on television or your social media feed. Fill yourself up with the news of hope. Look inside yourself for love and compassion. Shake off the old dust from the town of despair, sickness and lack. Step into land of plently, happiness, more than enough, abundance, perfect health and You will be richly rewarded.

It is easier than you think when you allow it to be.
